Managing Instant Messages

From the Instant Messages screen, you can view , d elete, or create instant
m essages. Messages d isplay in the ord er they are received . The first m essage
received d isp lays first.
T o manage instant messages:
1. Press
2. From the Instant Messages screen, you can d o the follow ing:
— Scroll through the m essages in ord er.
— To d elete a m essage, scroll to the m essage, and p ress the
D elete soft key.
— To create a new m essage, press the N ew soft key. (See

Sending Instant Messages

T o send an instant message:
1. Press
2. From the Instant Messages screen, d o one of the follow ing:
— To send a m essage, press the N ew soft key.
Enter the phone nu m ber or IP ad d ress, and then press the Ok soft key.
Or, to enter a URL, press the 1/A/a soft key to select u pp ercase or
low ercase m od e, enter the URL, and then press the O k soft key.

— To reply to a m essage, scroll to the m essage, and then press the Rep ly
soft key.
The Instant Messages screen d isp lays. The phone nu m ber or URL you
