9 Troubleshooting
Malfunction
No spray in the hand-
pieces.
No water in the tumbler
and spittoon bowl
Spray at the instru-
ments is insufficient.
Leaks in instruments.
PiezoLED or PIEZOsoft
without function.
The suction hoses do
not have any suction.
Water in the return air
filter.
The operating light
cannot be switched on.
Cause
No spray preselected.
Close the ring for con-
trolling the spray on
the handpieces.
Spray throttle Ws20
connected to control
valve.
The main water valve
in the office is closed.
The compressor is not
turned on.
Water bottle is empty.
No air pressure in the
unit.
The spray nozzles are
dirty/clogged.
O-rings at MULTIflex or
motor coupling, grip-
ping sleeve or cannula
of the triple-function
handpiece are dam-
aged.
PiezoLED or PIEZOsoft
not pivoting.
Slides on the conical
sections are closed.
Sieves in suction con-
nector are blocked.
Base plate for vacu-
stop has been activ-
ated.
Suction machine not

O-rings of the MUL-
TIflex coupling are
damaged.
Switch on the lamp

Remedy
▶ Preselect spray.
Check setting on butterfly valves of the dentist
element.
▶ Open the ring for controlling the spray on the
handpieces.
Check setting on butterfly valves of the dentist
element.
▶ Open main valve.
▶ Turn on the compressor.
▶ Fill the water bottle.
▶ Turn on the compressor.
▶ Clean the spray nozzles according to the ac-
companying instrument operating instructions.
▶ Replace O-rings.

PIEZOsoft/PiezoLED
▶ Open the slide valve.
▶ Replace sieves.
▶ Relieve base plate.
▶ Turn on the suction machine.
▶ Check the suction machine fuse.
▶ Replace all O-rings of the MULTIflex coupling.
▶ Turn on the switch.
