3.3.2.3 Quad E1 Operation via the Balanced G.703 / Aux G.703 Connectors

For Quad E1 operation, the optional CA-0000163 and CA-0000164 Adapter Cables, shown in Figure
3-3 and Figure 3-4 respectively, may be purchased from Comtech EF Data to adapt the Balanced
G.703 or Auxiliary G.703 9-pin Type 'D' female connectors to either a standard 15-pin Type 'D' or a
RJ-48 female connection pair. Refer to Table 3-6 or Table 3-7 for the pin assignment for these
optional adapter cables.
