Making Selections
Figure 4-8 below shows there are several ways to show
that an item has been selected:
• An area of white highlights a selected item.
• The cursor shows what digit is selected.

Interpreting On-screen Arrows
Arrows pointing up and down, give visual cues that more
text is available in the direction the arrow points. An ex-
ample is shown below in Figure 4-9. For this screen, the
+ -
and (up or down) navigation keys are used to move in
the direction of the on-screen arrow.
