Special Settings

When the VEGA Status LED indicates Stand-by
operation, set the desired LED Indication Pattern or
rewrite the ccTalk Initialization Encryption Code
by performing the special setting information that
follows.

LED Pattern Setting Mode

To change the LED Indication Pattern to show a
Green,
Blue
or Rainbow Gradient Color, set the
DIP Switches as indicated in Table 2-4 for the
desired LED result.

To set and save the desired LED setting proceed as
follows:
1. Turn the VEGA Unit Power
2. Set DS1 Switches #1, #2 and #7 to
choosing the LED gradient indication.
3. Turn the VEGA Unit Power
4. Set DS1 Switch #1 to
Stand-by setting indication and embed it into the
VEGA Unit memory.
5. The selected color setting will be reflected by the
Front Panel LED Color flashing indication when
the desired assignment is completed correctly.
NOTE: If the LED lights Red, the
Color assignment process failed.
Turn the VEGA Power OFF and
perform the procedure again.
Rewriting ccTalk Encryption Code
(Initialize)
The ccTalk Interface Encryption Code is rewritten
with the VEGA Serial Number by setting DIP
Switch Block #1 as shown in Figure 2-6, and per-
forming the following Encryption Code Initializa-
tion Instructions.

To set and save the Serial Number as the default
ccTalk Encryption Code, proceed as follows:
1. Turn the VEGA Unit Power
2. Set DIP Switch Block DS1 Switches #1 through
#6 to ON.
3. Turn the VEGA Unit Power
4. Set DS1 Switch #1 to
When the LED is extinguished, Encryption Code
rewriting into the Serial Number (Initialize) has
begun.
5. The LED will flash
rewrite procedure is complete.
NOTE: If the LED lights Red, the
Color assignment process failed.
Turn the VEGA Power OFF and
perform the procedure again.
