Procedure
1.
Open the Performance Control window.
In Command View Advanced Edition:
1.
On the Resources tab, expand the Storage Systems tree, right-click the target storage
system, and then select Other Functions.
2.
In the displayed window, select Actions > Port/Host Group > Authentication.
3.
In the next displayed window, select Go > Performance Manager > Performance
Control.
In Remote Web Console:
1.
Click Reports > Performance Monitor > Performance Control to open the
Performance Control window.
2.
Click
to change to Modify mode.
3.
In the Performance Control window, click Performance Control. The Performance Control
main window appears.
4.
Select the WWN tab.
5.
In the upper-left tree, select the old host bus adapter (
right-click the selection.
6.
From the pop-up menu, select Change WWN and PFC Name. The Change WWN and
PFC Name window opens.
7.
Enter the WWN of the new host bus adapter in the WWN combo box. For details on how to
get the HBA WWN, see the XP7 Provisioning for Open Systems User Guide.
You can select the WWN of the newly connected host bus adapter in the WWN combo box.
8.
If necessary, enter a new PFC name in the PFC Name box. You can use up to 64 characters
for a PFC name.
9.
Select OK to close the Change WWN and PFC Name window.
10. In the Performance Control main window, click Apply to apply the settings to the storage
system.
