Assembling the Lower shaft A assembly
1. Attach retaining ring E6 to lower shaft A.
2. Attach the thrust washer 1, lower shaft bushing 2, thrust washer 1 and
set screw collar 3 (Face the ground surface toward the lower shaft
bushing).
3. Move the set screw collar 3 to the right and secure it with the screws 1
(two).

Timing pulley D attachment

1. Attach retaining ring E6 to lower shaft A.
2. Attach timing pulley D 1 to lower shaft A, and attach retaining ring E6.
3. Hand start the screws 1 (three) in timing pulley D 1.
(Fully tighten after 4 - 8 "Needle bar rise adjustment".)
*Key point
• With the lower shaft A D cut 2 facing forward, secure using
one of the three screw holes in timing pulley D 1 in the
forward facing position.

Joint attachment
1. Put the lower shaft bushing 1 on the lower shaft A assy.
2. Put the joint 2 on the lower shaft A assy., and hand start the screws 1
(two) (fully tighten after 3 - 10 "6 feed module attachment.)
*Key point
• Align the screw hole 3 in the joint with the D cut 4 in lower
shaft A.
