Thread take-up lever assy. attachment

1. Lubricate surface of the thread take-up lever 1 on the needle bar crank rod
assy. and the thread take-up lever assy. shaft 2 with a small amount of
Molykote EM30L.
2. Attach the needle bar crank rod assy. 3 to the thread take-up counter
weight 4 using the screws 1 (two).
*Key point
• Align the needle bar crank D cut surface 5 with the thread
take-up counter weight screw hole 6.
3. Attach the thread take-up lever assy. 7 to the needle bar crank rod assy. 3
and thread take-up lever link 8.
*Key point
• The screw 2 is reverse threaded.
Apply Molykote EM30L grease to the needle bar
crank
Apply Molykote EM30L grease to the thread
take-up lever.
Apply Molykote EM30L grease to the to the
needle bar crank thread take-up attachment (left
screw attachment) surface.
