Step 7.
Reinstall the PCI riser-card assembly 2 (see "Replacing a PCI riser-card assembly" on page 224), if
necessary.
Step 8.
Install the cover (see "Replacing the cover" on page 195).
Step 9.
Slide the server into the rack.
Step 10. Reconnect the external cables; then, reconnect the power cords and turn on the peripheral devices
and the server.
Step 11. Start the Setup utility and reset the configuration.
• Set the system date and time.
• Set the power-on password.
• Reconfigure the server.
See "Using the Setup utility" on page 95 for details.

Removing the bezel

Use this information to remove the bezel.
To remove the bezel, complete the following steps:
Step 1.
Read the safety information that begins on "Safety" on page v and "Installation guidelines" on page
31.
Step 2.
Turn off the server and peripheral devices and disconnect the power cords and all external cables,
if necessary.
Step 3.
Remove the cover (see "Removing the cover" on page 194).
Step 4.
Remove the hard disk drives and filler panels from the hard disk drive bays (see "Removing hot-
swap hard disk drives" on page 203 or "Removing simple-swap hard disk drives" on page 205).
Step 5.
Remove the screws from the bezel.
Note: Use the T8 Torx screwdriver that comes with the new bezel to remove the bezel.
