Checking Alarm Status

All alarm indication lights should be extinguished and the POWER indication lights
should be green after completing the power up sequence. The valid input reference
alarm clears, rubidium lock clears, frequency alarms clear, and the ACQUIRE LED
is ON. Use the following procedure to verify that the unit is operational.
1. Log into the SSU-2000e using the procedure in
page 102.
2. Verify that there are no active alarms:
ICS command:
Type
alarm
TL1 command:
RTRV-ALM::ALL;
3. Log off the SSU-2000e when you're finished.
Factory Default (Basic) Configuration
The SSU-2000e is shipped from the factory with all required operational software.
The factory default (basic) configuration often does not require further configuration.
Refer to the SSU-2000e Technical Reference for a list of the factory default settings
and the default Priority Quality Level (PQL) values.
Changing Factory Defaults
Use the following steps to change the factory default or any configuration settings in
the SSU-2000e. The following example changes the Power A alarm on the Comms
module from Minor to Major.
1. Log into the SSU-2000e using the procedure in
page 102.
2. Set the alarm levels:

alarm 1A2 03 MAJOR

TL1 command:
SET-PRMTR-ALARM::S1A2:123:3,MAJ;
3. Log off the SSU-2000e when you're finished.
