When Fractional CnC Mode is ordered, this screen displays the number of seconds remaining for
both the 1-year (top line) and 90-day (bottom line) activation timers.
The Fractional CnC 1-Year Counter begins its countdown from 31536000 seconds (one full year)
to zero seconds. Countdown starts with the first instance of CnC use, and continues to decrement
during use for a full year. The 90-Day Counter similarly decrements from 7776000 seconds to
zero seconds whenever Fractional License CnC is being used.
When the counters expire, or if the Fractional CnC option has not been purchased, the content of
this screen is replaced with the message "Fractional CnC is not installed."
Once the 1-Year Counter reaches a full year, the 90-Day Counter will be reset to exactly 90 days
worth of Fractional time, regardless how much of the 90-Day Counter was remaining from the
previous year.
Note: The 90-Day Counter will not decrement when the modem has Fractional CnC installed and
serves as an OFFLINE backup modem in a 1:1 or 1:N redundancy system – the modem will
decrement only when that unit is ONLINE.
