External Clock Source: Use the drop-down menu to set the expected
clock rate for the external Clock source located on the J8 | EXT REF
connector provided on the CDM-750 rear panel as 1 MHz, 2 MHz, 5
MHz, 10 MHz, 20 MHz, 34.368 MHz, 44.736 MHz, or 51.85 MHz.
Rx Buffer Size: Enter a buffer size, in 0.5 ms steps, ranging from 2 ms to 75 ms.
Rx Buf Overflow / Underflow: Select the alarm state for the pertinent Rx Buffer Fill as
Alarm, Fault, Mask, or Alarm (Tx On).
Ext Clk Activity: (Indicates that the External Clock is selected by either the TxClock or
RxClock but no clock is present on J8 | EXT REF.) Select the alarm state for the
pertinent External Clock Activity as Alarm, Fault, Mask or Alarm (Tx On).
Ext Clk In Range: (Indicates that the External Clock is selected by either the TxClock or
RxClock, but the clock rate on J8 | EXT REF does not meet the expected rate by the
CDM-750.) Select the alarm state as Alarm, Fault, Mask or Alarm (Tx On).

to Chapter 5. FRONT PANEL OPERATION. Once the desired configuration settings have
been made in each section, click [Config G.703] as needed in that section to save those changes.
