Temporary Resident Count Line

A3-24 Appendix A

Count – dispensing male, if this field was set to 2 it would

indicate that 2 male patients of the age indicated, were

registered with the GP and that they had a dispensing status.

Count – dispensing female, for example, if this field was set to

1 it would indicate that 1 female patient, of the age indicated,

was registered with the GP of that age and that they had a

dispensing status.

Count – dispensing indeterminate, for example, if this field was

set to 0 it would indicate that no indeterminate patients, of the

age indicated, were registered with the GP.

Total of fields 5 to 10

Source cipher, for example, 'TES' – this field will only be

present if the user selects 'split by source cipher' on the request

National GP Code, for example, 634561

Practice Code, for example, 634561

HA cipher that the GP is responsible to, for example, EX

All fields following this are totals

Total number of prescribing male patients

The field following this is the Temporary Resident count

Total number of Temporary Residents for the GP for the

quarter three quarters prior to the one just closed. For example,

the count for the quarter 1.10.94 to 31.12.94 will be included in

the PPA report for the quarter ending 30.09.95.
