Using the AJ-PRAC Screen
The AJ-PRAC screen is used to set up the Practice Reallocation parameters. It can
also be used to request printed transfer address labels or letters, which are sent to
patients informing them that their GP has changed.
The 'date added' recorded for the transferred patients will normally be today's date.
However, if AJ-PRAC is run in the period following the quarter end date, but prior to
close of quarter, the date added will be the quarter end date. Various date-related
validation checks, for example on practice composition, will use this 'adjusted date
added' in their computation.
Because of this:
· The processing for the job must be completed on the same day that the job is
requested. If you try and process the job any later, no patients will be
transferred and the error message "RUN ABANDONED – MUST BE RUN
ON SAME DAY AS JOB REQUESTED" will appear on the print.
· The processing for the job must be completed within the same 'quarter
scenario' that the job was requested. If you request the job, then close the
quarter via CQ screen, and then try to process the job, no patients will be
transferred and the error message "RUN ABANDONED – QTR CLOSED
SINCE JOB REQUESTED" will appear on the print.

1. Enter a key of AJ with a qualifier of PRAC.
2. Press Enter.
