Additional Registration Utilities
'Reg. vs Res. Project' Upload Exception Report
This utility was introduced as part of the 'Registration vs. Residence Project' to change
the English NHAIS systems so that they are based on registered lists rather than
geographic residence.
This utility reports on GP practices which do not have either a 'date closed' or a
"housing registration system" cipher.
Directions
1. Access the Additional Registration Utilities menu, display the menu page
showing the 'Reg vs Res Project' Upload exception report option, and
enter the option number.
2. The display will confirm that "This utility can be run after the initial data
upload from NHSCFH, to highlight Practices which require action in terms
of their 'Housing Registration system' cipher."
3. The utility will then prompt for an email address, to which the final report
will be sent.
4. The utility will ask you to confirm that you entered the email address
correctly.
5. The display will then show:
** THE REQUESTED ANALYSIS HAS BEEN STARTED IN THE
BACKGROUND. **
An email with an attached report will be sent when finished. Hit return to
continue.
6. An email will be sent from RESREGU42.xxx@cfhsds.nhs.uk, where xxx
is your home system cipher. It will contain an attachment named:
where xxx is your home system cipher.
