Appendix D: Additional Registration Utilities
The Additional Registration Utilities Menu and the Bespoke Menu contain
miscellaneous Registration functions and applications developed to support the core
HA system. These menus can be accessed from specially configured system log-ons.
The contents of the Additional Registration Utilities Menu and the Bespoke Menu may
vary from HA to HA. 27 options are described in this appendix. They are:
• Allocation of pre-payment certificate numbers
• Correct historic MR status
• Print of computer allocated NHS numbers
• Check GPs for possibly invalid GNC/GMC codes for NSTS
• Check for practices with no address information/update from GP address
• Reconciliation upload facility – for the controlled release of large volumes of
postcodes to linked GP practices;
• Quarterly registrations and deductions extract
• Registrations and deductions date range count
• Intra PCT patient movements count to email
• Search all medical record movements by status/date
• Identify children missed by FP69 of parents
• House name containing key codes
• Retained medical records analysis
• List internally transferred patients
• 'Reg. vs Res. Project' upload exception report
• 'Reg. vs Res. Project' split practices report
• 'Reg. vs Res. Project' transfer of address information
• 'Reg. vs Res. Project' NHOU exclusion code statistics
• 'Reg. vs Res. Project' rejected/deleted NHOU acceptances
• GP practice patient counts breakdown by postcode – snapshot
• GP practice patient counts breakdown by postcode – by quarter
• Patients with a London Z address code/postcode conflict
• Search removed deducted patients by medical record status
• Intra CCG patient movement counts to email
