Additional Registration Utilities
NOTE
For each CCG having at least one patient, there will be a record including
the CCG code, the CCG name and the number of live patients registered
on that NHAIS system with a postcode relating to that CCG. In addition
(as above) you may find that you have records for:
• ZZZ – this is a count of the number of patients with no postcode
• UNK – this is a count of the number of patients with a postcode
Running the Utility Using a CCG Code
If you enter a CCG code, the utility will display the following information for all
patients with that CCG code:
• NHS number
• postcode
• practice of choice flag (shown with either 'Y' or 'N')
• PAF link type
NOTE
If you enter a value "ZZZ" the screen will list all patients with no
postcode. If you enter a value of "UNK" the screen will list all patients
with a postcode that does not currently map to a CCG code.
As the utility writes all the information to the screen in one go, you may have to use
scroll bars in your terminal emulator window to view all the patient details.

a CCG of residence).
that does not appear to be mapped to a CCG code. This could be
because the patient's property is a new-build where the (new, valid)
postcode has not yet been mapped to a CCG code. Equally,
however, this could be an invalid postcode (which does not map to a
CCG code because the postcode is invalid).
