Understanding the Allocation Pre-Payment Certificate Numbers

Last certificate number used by last run
This field is read only. It shows the last certificate number which was processed in the
previous run.
Health Authority Identifier (Q Code/Cypher)
Your pre-printed pre-payment certificates stationery will have certificate numbers
commencing with either your HA database cypher or an HA Q code. If your pre-
printed stationery contains your cypher within the certificate numbers, enter this
cypher; if your stationery contains an HA Q code, enter this Q code.
First certificate number used
Enter the number of the FIRST certificate for the present run. It must be no more than
10 characters long.
Last certificate number used
Enter the number of the LAST certificate for the present run. It must be no more than
10 characters long.
First correctly printed certificate number
Enter the number of the FIRST CORRECTLY PRINTED certificate. It must be no
more than 10 characters long.
NHS number for this certificate
Enter the patient's NHS number from the FIRST CORRECTLY PRINTED certificate.
Surname for this certificate
Enter the patient's surname from the FIRST CORRECTLY PRINTED certificate.
NOTE
An error message will appear if the surname and/or NHS number do not
exist on the print file.
