Additional Registration Utilities
NOTE
For each postcode outcode having at least one patient, there will be a
record including the postcode outcode and the number of live patients
registered on that NHAIS system with that postcode outcode. In addition
(as above) you may find that you have a record for:
• ZZZ – this is a count of the number of patients with no postcode, so
Running the Utility Using a Postcode Outcode
If you enter a postcode outcode, the utility will display the following information for
all patients with that postcode outcode:
• NHS number
• postcode
• practice of choice flag (shown with either 'Y' or 'N')
• PAF link type
NOTE
If you enter a value "ZZZ" the screen will list all patients with no
postcode.
As the utility writes all the information to the screen in one go, you may have to use
scroll bars in your terminal emulator window to view all the patient details.
