14-149. INSTALLATION OF CARGO FURNISHINGS. (Refer to Figure 14- 60.)
a. To accommodate cargo remove all cabin dividers, refreshment centers, tables, etc., and all seats
except pilot and copilot.
NOTE
If aircraft is ordered with cargo furnishings, the cargo barrier trim
plate and extrusion holes will be provided. If the aircraft is being
converted to cargo configuration, the extrusion holes in the
headliner for the cargo barriers must be made and trim plates must
be installed. For locations of the holes, refer to Figure 14-61.
b. Install cargo barriers (4) and (5).
1. The outboard barriers (4) are installed in the seat tracks at the bottom and secured at the
top with bolt (8) to the hole in the ceiling where the cargo barrier trim cover (9) is installed.
2. Install the inboard barriers (5) by placing pin (10) through hole in cargo barrier trim cover
(9) and attach bottom to seat tracks.
c. Secure the equipment containers (3) to the barriers behind the seats.
d. Install the cargo blankets ( 11 ) on the curtain tracks and slide in place.
e.
Install tie down rings (14) in desired positions and lock in place by turning the threaded ring into
the seat track lock holes.
f. Install tie down rings (15) in wedjit holes, if required.
g. Install cargo rollers (13) in desired positions.
h. Install cargo loading placard ( 17).

When cargo is loaded, secure cargo with cargo net and tie down straps.

a.
Remove one of the two stop screws located at either end of the forward or aft curtain tracks and
slide the curtains off the curtain tracks.
b. The forward and aft divider curtain tracks can be removed by releasing the remaining three and
five attachment screws respectively.
14-151. INSTALLATION OF FORWARD AND AFT DIVIDER CURTAIN TRACKS AND CURTAINS.
a. Install the curtain tracks by means of attachment screws.
b. Slide the curtain on the tracks and secure with the stop screws on the end of the track.
