14-169. REMOVAL OF REFRESHMENT CENTER AND TOILET.
NOTE
It may be necessary to remove any interior options which hinder
the removal and installation of the following items. (Refer to
appropriate paragraphs.)
a.
Remove the thermoses from the forward and aft (if installed) facing dispenser assemblies.
b.
Remove the forward facing dispenser assembly by removing the three screws attaching the unit to
the divider.
c.
Remove the aft facing dispenser assembly (if installed) by loosening the top screw and removing
the bottom screw attaching the dispenser unit to the divider panel.
d.
Remove the large drawer at the bottom left corer of the refreshment center and remove the bolt
attaching the refreshment center to the side of the cabin.
e.
Remove the drawer at the top right corner of the refreshment center and release the fastener
attaching the refreshment center to the divider.
f.
Raise the hinged door on the top of the refreshment center and release the fastener attaching the
far right corner of the refreshment center to the divider.
g.
Remove the drawer at the bottom right corner of the refreshment center and release the wedjit
(quarter turn. quick disconnect fastener) attaching the refreshment center to the cabin floor.
h.
Remove the refreshment center from the aircraft.
i.
Remove the three screws and capnuts attaching the divider panel to the support channel on the
cabin floor.
j.
Remove the two remaining screws attaching the divider panel to the side and top of the cabin and
remove the divider panel from the aircraft.
k.
Raise the lid of the toilet and the seat assembly of the toilet.

Remove the relief tube from the toilet assembly by unplugging the tube from the relief tube
disconnect plate on the cabin floor.
m.
Close the relief tube cover by pushing the small metal knob on the relief tube disconnect plate.
n.
Release the two wedjits (quarter turn, quick disconnect fasteners) attaching the front of the
toilet to the cabin floor.
o.
Push the seat frame of the toilet towards the rear of the aircraft and lift the seat assembly so that
the rear of the seat assembly detaches from the keyhole plate on the cabin floor.
p.
Remove the toilet assembly from the aircraft.
