Gear operates abnor-
mally slow or par-

Slow leak in main
relief valve.
(Engine pump.)
Check system opera-
tion per paragraph
6-13.
Slow leak in hand
pump relief valve.
External leakage
at selector valve.
One engine pump
inoperative.
Check system opera-
tion per paragraph 6-14.
Refer to paragraph 6-158.
Then replace damaged
O-rings.
Refer to paragraph 6-151
before replacing pump.
Selector handle re-
turns to neutral be-
fore cycle is
complete.
Cable, line or
other obstruction
restricting the
travel required
to fully select
gear up or down.
Check and remove
obstruction.
Selector lever and
/or push-pull rods
out of adjustment.
If gear completes
cycle (red light
out) but doors do
not close, battery
output may be low.
Time delay valve
and/or piston re-
lease lock out of
adjustment.
Time delay valve air
locked.
Adjust control.
Check voltage
Check operation per
paragraphs 6-10 and
6-11.
Bleed air out by
holding selector down
for 30 seconds, then
make three or four
rapid movements to
neutral and back to
down.
