Repair linkage and adjust
waste gate to open or close
position to specifications
in overhaul manual.
Replace or overhaul turbo-
charger.
Damage to turbine or
compressor wheel.
Exhaust leaks.
Controller or waste gate
malfunction.
Replace or overhaul turbo-
charger.
Repair leaks.
Replace controller.
NOTE
When it has been determined that a controller is malfunctioning, it
should be removed and replaced. The old unit should be sent to
approved facilities for overhaul of turbochargers or repaired in
accordance with current Avco-Lycoming Overhaul Instructions
SSP266.
