14-170.. INSTALLATION OF REFRESHMENT CENTER AND TOILET.
a. Align the toilet in the aircraft, so the aft attachment fits in the keyhole. Push forward; then down
to lock the toilet in the wedjits.
b.
Open the relief tube cover by pushing the small metal knob on the relief tube disconnect plate.
c. Install the relief tube to the toilet assembly by plugging the tube into the relief tube disconnect
plate on the cabin floor.
d. Install waste bucket and close the lid and the seat assembly of the toilet.
e. Install the two screws attaching the divider panel to the side and top of the cabin.
f. Install the three screws and capnuts attaching the divider panel to the support channel on the
cabin floor.
g. Install the refreshment center in place and push down locking the unit in the wedjit plate.
h. Raise the hinged door on top of the refreshment center and secure the fastener attaching the aft
right corner of the unit to the divider.
i. Remove the drawer at the top right corner of the refreshment center and secure the fastener
attaching the refreshment center to the divider.
j. Remove the large drawer at the bottom left corner of the refreshment center and install the bolt
attaching the refreshment center to the side of the cabin.
k. Install the aft facing dispenser assembly (if available) by securing the top and bottom screws
attaching the dispenser unit to the divider panel.
1. Install the forward facing dispenser assembly by securing the three screws attaching the unit to
the divider.
m. Install the thermoses in the forward and aft (if installed) facing dispenser assemblies.
14-171. REMOVAL OF SIDE FACING TOILET, REFRESHMENT CENTER AND REAR DIVIDER
WITH BEVERAGE DISPENSER.
a. Remove the privacy panel. (Refer to Removal of Privacy Panel, if installed.)
b. Remove the three screws attaching the rear divider to the refreshment center.
c. Raise the seat cushion covering the toilet.
d. Remove the relief tube. from the toilet assembly by disconnecting the tube at the relief tube
disconnect plate on the cabin floor.
e. Close the relief tube cover by pushing the small metal knob on the relief tube disconnect plate.
f. Remove the screws attaching the toilet installation to the side of the refreshment center and
remove the refreshment center from the aircraft.
g. Release the two wedjits (quarter turn, quick disconnect fasteners) attaching the toilet seat frame
to the cabin floor.
h. Push the seat frame of the toilet towards the rear of the aircraft and lift the toilet installation so
that it detaches from the forward keyhole plate on the cabin floor.
i. Remove the toilet installation from the aircraft.
j.
Remove the thermoses from the dispenser unit.
k. Remove the four screws and capnuts attaching the rear divider and beverage dispenser to the
support bracket on the cabin floor.
1. Remove the three remaining screws attaching the rear divider and beverage dispenser to the top
and side of the cabin.
m. Remove the rear divider with beverage dispenser from the aircraft.
