11-118. REMOVAL OF POWER SUPPLY FOR ELECTRO-LUMINESCENT PANELS. The inverter
that acts as a power supply for the electro-luminescent panels is located behind the left side of the instrument
panel on a support channel. A terminal block is mounted to the channel with one screw connecting the top of
both inverter and terminal block to the channel.
a.
Remove screws securing the inverter to the channel.
b.
Disconnect black wire, red wire, wire L105EE and ground wire at disconnect points or terminal
block. Make note of wire placement.
c.
Remove inverter.
11-119. INSTALLATION OF POWER SUPPLY ELECTRO-LUMINESCENT PANELS.
a.
Position inverter in place behind the instrument panel.
b.
Connect black wire, red wire, wire L105EE and wire from inverter to ground to previously marked
connections.
c.
Install inverter in proper position and secure with appropriate screws.
11-120. REMOVAL OF ANNUNCIATOR CONTROLLER. The annunciator controller is located on the
radio support shelf.
a.
Gain access by removing the access panel aft of the forward baggage compartment between Sta.
35.00 and Sta. 57.00 on the left side of the airplane.
b.
Disconnect electrical connector E430 from rear of the unit.
c.
Remove the four screws securing the annunciator controller and mounting bracket to the radio
support shelf.
d.
Remove the unit, with mounting bracket attached, from the airplane.
11-121. INSTALLATION OF ANNUNCIATOR CONTROLLER.
a.
Position the annunciator controller, with mounting bracket attached, in its proper location on the
radio support shelf with the electrical connection facing aft.
b.
Secure the unit by installing appropriate screws through the mounting bracket.
c.
Connect the electrical connection to the unit.
d.
Install the access panel between Sta. 35.00 and Sta. 57.00 and secure with appropriate screws.
11-122. REMOVAL OF ANNUNCIATOR PANEL. The annunciator panel is located above the center
instrument panel mounted to the airplane glare shield.
a.
Remove the 3 screws from the underside of the annunciator panel securing the face plate to the glare
shield and remove the face plate.
b.
Slide the annunciator panel out and disconnect the electrical connection from the rear of the unit.
c.
Remove the annunciator panel from the airplane.
NOTE
Replacement of a bulb does not require removal of the annunciator
panel. To replace a defective bulb, push in on appropriate light cover
assembly until it clicks, then pull the light assembly out. Remove old
bulb and replace with new bulb. Install the light cover assembly by
placing in proper cutout and push in until it clicks, this will lock the
light cover assembly in place.
11-123. INSTALLATION OF ANNUNCIATOR PANEL.
a.
Connect the electrical connection to the rear of the annunciator panel and place in appropriate posi-
tion above the center instrument panel.
b.
Install face plate and mount unit to glare shield with three appropriate screws.
