14-172., INSTALLATION OF SIDE FACING TOILET, REFRESHMENT CENTER AND REAR DIVIDER
WITH BEVERAGE DISPENSER.
a.
Install the rear divider with beverage dispenser and secure the three screws attaching the divider
to the cabin.
b.
Install the four screws and capnuts attaching the rear divider and beverage dispenser to the
support bracket.
c.
Install the thermoses in the dispenser unit.
d.
Install the toilet seat by placing the forward mounts in the keyhole and push down on the aft
part of the seat to lock the seat in the wedjits.
e.
Install the refreshment center and secure the two screws attaching the toilet installation to the
side of the refreshment center.
f.
Open the relief tube cover by pulling the small metal knob on the relief tube disconnect plate.
g.
Install the relief to the toilet assembly by plugging the tube into the relief tube disconnect plate
on the cabin floor.
h. Replace the toilet pail.
i.
Close the seat cushion covering the toilet.
j.
Install the three screws attaching the rear divider to the refreshment center.
k.
Install the privacy panel. (Refer to Installation of Privacy Panel.)
14-173.. REMOVAL OF FORWARD FACING OCCUPIABLE TOILET.
a.
Raise both the seat cushion covering the toilet and the seat assembly on the toilet.
b.
Remove the toilet pail retainer panel by removing the four screws holding it in place.
c.
Remove the relief tube from the toilet assembly by disconnecting the tube at the relief tube
disconnect plate on the cabin floor.
d.
Close the relief tube cover by pushing the small metal knob on the relief tube disconnect plate.
e.
Remove the two attaching screws fastening the back of the toilet to the floor.
f.
Release the two wedjits (quarter turn, quick disconnect fasteners) attaching the forward section
of the toilet seat frame to the cabin floor.
g.
Push the seat frame of the toilet towards the rear of the cabin and lift the toilet seat so that the
rear attachments detach from the two keyhole plates on the cabin floor.
h.
Remove the toilet seat from the aircraft.
14-174. INSTALLATION OF FORWARD FACING OCCUPIABLE TOILET.
a.
Place the seat in the aircraft on the mounts; push the seat slightly forward and press down on the
seat locking it in the wedjits. Replace the two screws securing the back of the toilet to the floor.
b.
Open the relief tube cover by pulling the small metal knob on the relief tube disconnect plate.
c.
Connect the relief tube to the toilet assembly by plugging the tube into the relief tube disconnect
plate on the cabin floor.
d.
Install the toilet pail retainer panel by attaching the four screws holding it in place.
e. Install the toilet pail.
f.
Close both the seat assembly on the toilet and seat cushion.
