10-100. CLOCK. The standard equipment clock is an eight day timepiece with the winding stem located in
the lower left hand side of the dial. A battery (AAA type) powered quartz digital clock may be installed as
optional equipment.
10-101. REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION
OF CLOCK. (Refer to paragraphs on Removal of Instru-
ments and Installation of Instruments.)
10-102. REPLACEMENT OF BATTERY (DIGITAL CLOCK). The "AAA" Type Alkaline battery has
a useful life of approximately 24 months. To replace the battery it will be necessary to remove the clock from
the instrument panel.
a.
Remove the four screws which secure the clock to the panel.
b.
Reaching up behind the instrument panel remove the clock from its position and move it to a more
accessible location.
c.
Remove the screw from the back of the clock and gently separate the case from the face.
d.
Replace the depleted battery and reinstall the case.
e.
Install the clock in the instrument panel and reset according to the directions given in DIGITAL
CLOCK, TIMER,CHRONOMETER
OPERATION.
