PERATION OF THE
Manual Review
Manual Review refers to a slide review in which
•
patient slide data is not retrieved from or communicated to the server
•
a scan of the entire cell spot is conducted by the operator initiating each movement of the
stage
•
marks may be made (up to 30), but no record is stored on the server
(Refer to Figure 3-1 for a graphical representation of the typical slide review process.)
Important Operational Notes
CAUTION: Never lift or handle the Review Scope by the stage. (Refer to Figure 2-2‚
Moving the Review Scope.)
Calibrate the 4-button pod Joystick and the Object Marker once a day, in that order. (Refer to page 4.4
and page 4.6, respectively.)
Calibrate the 5-button pod joystick upon installation of the pod, or if the pod has been removed and
then reinstalled on a Review Scope. (Refer to page 4.4.)
Load the slide properly, seated fully against the back and left guides, to ensure a successful slide ID
scan and accurate positioning of Object of Interest coordinates sent from the Server. (Refer to Figure
3-2.)
Always examine the entire Field of View. Mark if you see any suspect object and then do Autoscan.
