4-BUTTON POD
Mark used to electronically mark or unmark cells for dotting by the marking pen
Joystick used for directional and velocity control of the motorized stage during slide review
used to increase or decrease stage speed during autoscan
Note:
The Navigator Pod button functions are illustrated showing the default configuration. The
Next, Previous, Objective and Mark functions can be assigned by the user. Refer to page 4.24,
Button Setup.
At the control panel on right side of the microscope, turn the lamp power rocker switch to the "on"
position. Adjust the illumination to the desired intensity by turning the lamp intensity adjustment
dial.
The white and green mark indicator intensities may be set individually by turning their respective
adjustment knobs. (Refer to Figure 2-12.)
Koehler illumination may be adjusted using the condenser and collector assemblies. Instructions for
making this adjustment may be found in the Koehler Alignment section on page 5.8.
