When the FORM FEED (PAPER EXIT) key is pressed, the laser
diode of the laser scanning unit and the scanning motor are turned on
for 30 sec.
When the HSYNC signal is normally outputted, the ON LINE (ON-
LINE) lamp lights up.
During the operation, if the HSYNC signal is not normally outputted or
if the printer cover is forcibly opened, the ERROR lamp lights up.
To execute the diagnostics, press the FORM FEED (PAPER EXIT)
key. To cancel, press the RESET key.
To go to the next menu, press the MENU key when the diagnostics
operation is halted.
