and insert into CN2.

Connect one end of the IDT/Sim exclusive^use cable to CN5 of
the ICU board.

Connect the IDT/Sim exclusive-use cable to the 9-pin connector
(COM1) of the personal computer.

Start Windows.

Start the terminal software of Windows.
Perform setting of the host side serial port for communication with
the printer ICU PWB.
Incase of Windows3.1: Start the terminal in the accessory, and
open Idt.trm.
In case of Windows95: Open Idssim.ht in the hyper terminal in the
accessary.
Open the communication item in the setting menu and set the
parameters as shown below.
