Type
PWB Blows the fuse to reset the OPC drum counter when a
virgin OPC drum unit is installed.
Used to detect whether the installed fusing unit is a virgin
one or not.
Reflection photo sensor Detects the toner patch density in the print quality
(process) correction. Also detects paper jams in the
transfer drum section.
Transmission photo sensor Detects paper jams in the paper exit section.
Magnetic sensor Detects the toner density. (Y)
Magnetic sensor Detects the toner density. (M)
Magnetic sensor Detects the toner density (C)
Includes a fuse inside. Used to detect whether the installed
color developer unit is a virgin one or not. When a virgin
color developer unit is installed, the fuse is blown to reset
the color developer counter.
Micro switch Turns off the power (DC24V) of the motor, the high voltage
PWB, and the clutch and the power (5V) of the scanner
unit.
Transmission photo sensor Detects the paper size.
Transmission photo sensor Detects the paper size.

Each control timing is determined according to this sensor
signal.

Mechanical contact switch Detects paper setting in the manual paper feed mode, and
detects paper transport and jam when paper is fed from
