4) Tighten the scanner unit fixing screw.
5) Shift the scanner unit in the arrow direction and fix it.
6) Repeat procedures 2) ∼ 5) until there is no distortion in the printed
image of the rectangle (the four angels are right angles.)
(4) Precaution
* Do not disassemble the scanner unit.
(5) Troubles caused by improper adjustment
* There is distortion of the printed image.

3. Power unit adjustments

1. 5V voltage adjustment
2. 5V overcurrent protection detection level adjustment
3. 24V overcurrent protection detection level adjustment
4. POFF signal output detection level adjustment
A. Tools requried for adjustment

Digital multi meter (Voltmeter)
Load resistor 1.25 Ω (30W or more),
•
3.3 Ω (200W or more)
•
Wire with clip
•
VR adjustment screwdriver (–) (small)
•
AC power voltage adjuster (Slidac transformer)
continuous variation type
B. Cases where the adjustment is required
1) When the power unit is repaired (when any part in the power unit
is replaced.)
2) When any VR position in the power unit is erroneously moved.
3) When the power voltage is normally supplied but the printer is not
operated.
C. Precaution
Before executing this adjustment, remove the power unit from the
printer in advance.
