(7) Paper pick-up roller clutch

Remove the paper feed unit. (Refer to the C-1.)

Remove the paper pick-up roller solenoid.

Remove the paper pick-up roller clutch.
Note: When assembling, check that the solenoid flapper is properly
connected to the sleeve and that the paper pick-up roller stops
at the normal position.
When assembling, be careful not to mistake the pick-up clutch
spring (counterclockwise winding) and the charger roller cam
spring (clockwise spring.)
(8) Resist roller clutch

Remove the paper feed unit. (Refer to the C-1.)

Remove the paper pick-up roller solenoid and the lower resist
roller gear. (Refer to the C-7.)

Remove the upper resist roller clutch.

Note: When assembling, check that the solenoid flapper is properly
connected to the sleeve and that the paper pick-up roller stops
at the normal position.

(9) Charger roller clutch (Lift clutch)

Remove the paper feed unit. (Refer to the C-1.)

Remove the charger roller clutch.
Upper resist roller clutch
Note: When assembling, check that the solenoid flapper is properly
connected to the sleeve.
Check that the cam stops at the normal position. When as-
sembling, be careful not to mistake the pick-up clutch spring
(counterclockwise winding) and the charger roller cam spring
(clockwise spring.)
(10) Paper transport roller

Remove the paper feed unit. (Refer to the C-1.)

Remove the waste toner sensor cover, and remove the waste
toner sensor. (Refer to the H-1.)

Remove the waste toner box cover.
Note: When assembling, check that the waste toner box moves
smoothly.
