4-1-2. Notes on Adjustment

When performing the adjustment, read throughly the
following comments.
1. The calibration of all measuring equipment should be
completed.
2. Camera control unit and CCD unit alignments should
be also completed.
3. "4-1-4. Initial Setting" should be completed.
4. Turn off the power before extending the plug-in board
using the extension board.
5. When using the camera as 16:9 mode together with the
OHB-550WS/550WSP, use the specified grayscale
chart (J-6394-080-A).
6. Paste a black colored velvets (around 3 × 3 cm) to both
sides of the full white portion in the center of the
grayscale chart.
(For more details, consult your Sony service represen
tative.)
7. When connectting MSU-700 to BVP-550/550P, use
MSU-700 for various settings, because the switches on
the side panel of the camera become invalid.

8. Setup menu consists of the following menus.
• Operation

• Maintenance
• Reference
• Triming file
• System config
To activate each menu, first display the TOP menu.
9. In this manual, describes the setup menu operation as
follows.

When Paint →Skin Detail is selected:
MENU : Paint
PAGE : Skin Detail (P4)
10. How to change the setting values
To enter or cancel the setting value of items, which
can be changed by turning the MENU SEL switch,
proceed as follows.
To enter the setting value; Press the MENU SEL
switch.
To cancel the setting value;
Before pressing the MENU SEL switch, press the
CANCEL button. The original setting is restored.
After pressing the MENU SEL switch, the setting can
not be canceled.
