R/G/B switch (on the side panel) → G
MENU setting:

PAGE : White Shading (M2)
: H Saw [G] → 99

Specifications: Flatten the portion A.
Adjust so that the level at portion A
does not fluctuate even if the setting
value for H Saw [G] varies from 99
to –99.

: Waveform monitor
Test point
: TEST OUT connector
Iris of the lens : CLOSE
Preparations:
Connect the waveform monitor to the TEST OUT connec-
tor.
Adjustment procedures:
1. Set the RGB/ENC switch (on the side panel) to RGB.
Set the R/G/B switch (on the side panel) to G.
2. Set the menu as follows, and adjust the black level by
turning the MENU SEL switch.
MENU : Paint
PAGE : Video Level (P1)
ITEM : Black (M)
Specifications: A = 3 ±1 IRE (for NTSC)
A = 35 ±7 mV (for PAL)
3. Set the RGB/ENC switch (on the side panel) to ENC.
4. Adjust automatically the black balance.
AUTO W/B BAL switch (on the front panel) → BLK
