4. Connect the oscilloscope to the TP54 (GND:TP53)/
Extension board extending VA-163.
Adjustment point : 1RV200 (C4)/VA-163
: B = 880 ±5 mV
Specifications
5. Connect the oscilloscope to the TP72 (GND:TP71)/
Extension board extending VA-163.
Specifications
: Adjust the iris control of the
lens.
A = 125 mV
6. Connect the oscilloscope to the TP52 (GND:TP51)/
Extension board extending VA-163.
Adjustment point : 1RV300 (D4)/VA-163
: B = 880 ±5 mV
Specifications
7. Connect the oscilloscope to the TP70 (GND:TP69)/
Extension board extending VA-163.
Specifications : Adjust the iris control of the
lens.
A = 125 mV
8. Connect the oscilloscope to the TP50 (GND:TP49)/
Extension board extending VA-163.
Adjustment point : 1RV400 (F4)/VA-163
: B = 880 ±5 mV

Preparations:
Connect the waveform monitor to the TEST OUT connec-
tor.
GAIN switch (on the side panel) → L (0 dB)
Iris of the lens : CLOSE
RGB/ENC switch (on the side panel) → RGB
R/G/B switch (on the side panel) → R
Adjustment procedures:

MENU setting:
MENU : Maintenance
PAGE : White Shading (M2)
: H Saw [R] → 99

Adjustment point:

PAGE : PR/VA/TEST (S3)
ITEM : VA MOD [R]
Specifications: Flatten the portion A.
Adjust so that the level at portion A
does not fluctuate even if the setting
value for H Saw [R] varies from 99
to –99.
