2. Make a selection of line at the center white portion of
the grayscale chart.
3. White Limitter Adjustment
Set the menu as follows, and set the clip level by
turning the MENU SEL switch.

Specifications: Adjust the edges of portion (a) to
the desired clip level.

• Perform this adjustment on the customer's preferences, if
necessary.
Equipment : Color monitor, Viewfinder or Vectorscope
Preparations:
Connect the vectorscope to the TEST OUT connector.
Shoot a person's face.
Set the menu as follows.
MENU : Paint
PAGE : Skin Detail (P4)
ITEM : Skin Detail→On
Adjustment procedures:
1. Set the menu as follows.
MENU : Paint
PAGE : Skin Detail (P4)
ITEM : Gate→On
2. Set the menu as follows, and adjust the amount of the
skin detail signal to the desired level according to the
following menus by turning the MENU SEL switch.
MENU : Paint
PAGE : Skin Detail (P4)
ITEM : Phase: Hue
ITEM : Saturation: Component in the saturation
direction
ITEM : Width: Component in the hue direction
(The effective area of the skin detail signal appears in
a zebra pattern on the viewfinder screen. Set the
desired level.)
