4-2. Adjustment for Installation of OHB
When the auto black adjustment is executed with the
AUTO W/B BAL switch on the front panel for the first
time after the OHB is replaced or a new OHB is installed,
the black shading is automatically adjusted in succession to
the auto black adjustment.
If the shading adjustment is correctly completed at that
time, "4-2-3. Black Shading Adjustment" can be skipped.

Notes:
• Perform this confirmation only when the CCD unit is
installed.
• Warm up the camera for about 10 minutes before
performing this confirmation.
Preparation:
• RGB/ENC switch (on the side panel) → ENC

If the specification is not satisfied, perform the following
adjustment.
Adjustment Procedures:
1. Set the DISP switch (on the side panel) to MENU
while holding down the MENU SEL switch (on the
front panel).
2. Set the menu as follows and adjust the frequency by
using the MENU SEL switch.

4-2-2. VA Gain Adjustment
Setting of Sensitivity and Standard Color Temperature:
• Use the reflective chart (reflection ratio:89.9%)in this
adjustment, if possible.
• If a pattern box is used, it should be well-maintained.
• Set the luminous intensity of the chart to 2000 lx and the
color temperature to 3200 K.
• This adjustment shall be performed at F7.0 or more.
Note:
• Never change the setting of the following trimmer
capacitors. These capacitors are extremely difficult to
adjust in the field.

Preparations:
• WHITE BAL switch (on the side panel) → PRST
• GAIN switch (on the side panel) → L (0 dB)
• Extend VA-163 board with EX-464 board.
• RGB/ENC switch (on the side panel) → ENC
Adjustment Procedures:
1. Set the DISP switch (on the side panel) to MENU
while holding down the MENU SEL switch (on the
front panel).
2. Set the menu as follows.

3. Close the lens iris.
4. Execute the level auto setup.
Press the MENU SEL switch to execute.

5. Confirm the black level is 3 IRE for NTSC and 21 mV
for PAL at the TEST OUT connector.
If the black level is out of specs, carry out "4-2-5.
Master Black Adjustment".
