Level reduction plug

When the channel selector is used with a device that has
a microphone, acoustic feedback can occur.Use the
level reduction plug (refer to figure 27.8) to prevent
acoustic feedback.

Connect a voltage to the level reduction plug to
decrease the volume level of the signal on the
headphones (refer to table 27.10).

Voltage Description
< 1 V(DC) The output level of the channel
selector is not decreased.
> 3 V(DC) The output level of the channel
selector is decreased.
These devices have a output level plug that you can
connect to the level reduction plug of the channel
selector:
