Volume calculations

WARNING:
To avoid incorrect calculations,
verify that the patient information,
date, and time settings are accurate.
To avoid misdiagnosis or harming
the patient outcome, start a new
patient information form before
starting a new patient exam and
performing calculations. Starting a
new patient information form clears
the previous patient's data. The
previous patient's data will be
combined with the current patient
if the form is not first cleared. See
"To create a new patient
information form"

To calculate volume
The volume calculation involves three 2D 
distance measurements: D
measurements are saved, the result appears 
on‐screen and in the patient report.
Do the following for each image you need to 
measure:
a On the frozen 2D image, press the 
key.
b Do the following for each measurement 
you need to take:
i
From the calculations menu, select the 
measurement name under Volume. (If 
Volume is not available in a Gyn exam, 
select Gyn and then select Volume.)
ii
Position the calipers. (See "Working 
with calipers" on page 47.)
iii
Save the measurement. See "To save a 
calculation" on page 51.
