To calculate Aortic Valve Area (AVA)

Index (SI)
The SV and SI calculations require a

Doppler. SI also requires Body Surface Area
(BSA). After the measurements are saved, the
result appears in the patient report.
1 (SI Only) Fill in the Height and Weight fields
on the patient information form. The BSA is
calculated automatically. (See "To create a
new patient information form" on page 40.)
