3-21. Noise

Step
1 Check parts with different specifications for problems with
usage, defective installation, breakage, deformation, and adhe-
sion of grime or foreign matter.
• Main parts to be checked:
(1) HVPS, (2) Earth plate assy, (3) MCU PCB
(4) Fuser assy, (5) Temp. sensor assy, (6) LVPS assy
(7) BTR assy, (8) EPX toner cartridge, (9) Inlet chute assy
(10) Wire assy baffle, (11) Trans. chute assy
(12) Wire assy TR, (13) Wire assy eliminator
(14) Lower chute assy, (15) Wire assy front
(16) Front earth spring
2 Has the equipment been securely grounded?
3 Is there any noise-generating equipment in the near vicinity?
4 (Check wire assy baffle)
Is there conductivity between the terminals of the wire assy
baffle?
5 (Check inlet chute assy)
Has the resistor of the inlet chute assy been securely attached?
6 (Check wire assy eliminator)
Is there conductivity between the terminals of the wire assy
eliminator?
7 (Check trans. chute assy)
Is there conductivity between the eliminator of the trans. chute
assy and the connector (J RTN) of the wire assy eliminator?
8 (Check wire assy front)
Is there conductivity between the terminals of the wire assy
front?
9 (Check temp. sensor assy)
Is there conductivity between the two terminals of the J101-
5PIN harness?
10 (Check LVPS assy)
Is there conductivity between the P101-5PIN and the LVPS
assy frame?
