11 (Check fuser assy)
Is there conductivity between the discharging brush of the fuser
cover assy and the LVPS assy frame?
• Check with the fuser assy attached.
12 (Check fuser assy)
Is there conductivity between the metal lever on the right side
of the fuser assy and the LVPS assy frame?
• Check with the fuser assy attached and the metal lever on the
right side in the pressed position.
13 (Check fuser assy)
Is there conductivity between the heat roll and the LVPS assy
frame?
• Check with the fuser assy attached and the fuser cover assy
removed.
14 (Check HVPS)
Does the problem occur if the HVPS is replaced with a normal
one?
15 (Check earth plate assy)
Is there conductivity between the plate spring of the earth plate
assy and the corresponding terminal on the harness?
16 (Check EPX toner cartridge)
Does the problem occur if the HVPS is replaced with a normal
one?
17 (Check wire assy TR)
Is there conductivity between the two terminals on the ends of
the wire assy TR?
18 (Check trans. chute assy)
Is there conductivity between the shaft of the BTR assy and the
terminal (J TR) of the wire assy TR?
*1: The problem is thought to be caused by external noise, so surrounding circumstances should be considered.
