3-8. Faulty Regi. Sensor

Step
1 Check parts with different specifications for problems with
usage, defective installation, breakage, and deformation.
• Main parts to be checked:
(1) Regi. sensor, (2) MCU PCB, (3) Harness assy sensor
(4) LVPS assy
2 (Check power supply of regi. sensor) *1
Is 5 VDC being supplied between P16-4PIN
3 (Check regi. sensor ON signal) *1
Is 5 VDC being supplied between P16-6PIN
4 (Check regi. sensor ON signal) *1
Is 0 VDC being supplied between P/J16-6PIN
when the detecting section of the regi. sensor is in "Pass" status
(paper exists), and is 5 VDC being supplied when the regi.
sensor is blocked (no paper exists)?
• Check with the front cover assy open.
5 (Check harness assy sensor)
Is there conductivity between J16
*1: Check with the connector (P/J111) disconnected from the HVPS.

1 Check parts with different specifications for problems with

• Main parts to be checked:
(1) MBF sensor, (2) MCU PCB, (3) Harness assy sensor
(4) LVPS assy
2 (Check power supply of MBF sensor) *1
Is 5 VDC being supplied between P16-7PIN
3 (Check MBF sensor ON signal) *1
Is 5 VDC being supplied between P16-9PIN
4 (Check MBF sensor ON signal) *1
Is 0 VDC being supplied between P/J16-9PIN
when the detecting section of the MBF sensor is in "Pass"
status (paper exists), and is 5 VDC being supplied when the
MBF sensor is blocked (no paper exists)?

Is there conductivity between J16
