3-20. Faulty HVPS TR

Step
1 Check parts with different specifications for problems with
usage, defective installation, breakage, deformation, and adhe-
sion of grime or foreign matter.
• Main parts to be checked:
(1) HVPS, (2) MCU PCB, (3) Trans. chute assy
(4) Wire assy TR, (5) Harness assy HVPS, (6) LVPS
2 (Check power supply of HVPS)
Is 24 VDC being supplied between P15-7PIN
3 (Check wire assy TR)
Is there conductivity between the two terminals on the ends of
the wire assy TR?
4 (Check trans. chute assy)
Is there conductivity between the shaft of the BTR assy and the
terminal (J TR) of the wire assy TR?
• The resistance value fluctuates depending on the contact
pressure between the bearing of the trans. chute assy and the
BTR assy shaft, and the contact pressure between the bearing
of the trans. chute assy and the spring. Check the resistance
value with the shaft of the BTR assy pressed against the
bearing of the trans. chute assy.
5 (Check harness assy HVPS)
Is there conductivity between J15
6 (Check replacement of MCU PCB)
Does the problem occur after the MCU PCB has been replaced
with a normal one?
