Order of memory module installation
Install memory modules in ascending order of capacity from memory slot 1A – 1B – 2A – 2B.

Turn off the server and connected devices, and unplug all power cables from
the outlet.

Remove the cover.

Touch a metal part of the server to discharge static electricity.

Remove a reinforcing bar.

It may be difficult to install the memory modules depending on the location of the memory slots
because of the peripheral devices. In this case, remove the unit bay. For removing it, refer to
Step 4 in "7.6.3 How to Install Internal Bay Options" ( pg.140).
