Reseat the interface cable plugged into the SHPF.

Enter the Diagnostics menu, and then navigate to:
Printer setup > Reset engine service error
Note: Perform this step every time a service error occurs.

Test the sensor (booklet maker aligner home).
Enter the Diagnostics menu, and then navigate to:
SENSOR TESTS > Hole Punch Booklet Finisher > Stopper home

Toggle the sensor.
Does the sensor status change while toggling the sensor?
Step 4

Make sure that the sensor is properly installed.

Make sure that the sensor is free of debris or dust.

Reseat the cable on the sensor. Check the cable for damage, and
replace if necessary.

Check the sensor for damage.
Is the sensor free of damage?
