2.1.4 CYLINDER
COUPLING FROM CYLIN-
DER
Five screws fasten the head to the cylinder.
Remove the cylinder head screw 1 on the out-
side of the chain-side cylinder head.
Remove the four cylinder head fixing screws 2,
in a criss-cross pattern. Start with one of the
two screws outside the cylinder head com-
partment.
Then remove the respective washers.
Lift the cylinder head 3 with one hand and at
the same time with the other hold the chain
in tension thus preventing jams during disas-
sembly.
With the cylinder head lifted a few centime-
tres, drop the chain inside the compartment
and pull out the head.
ATTENTION: should the chain fall inside, pla-
ce it in tension before lifting the head.
ATTENTION: during lifting of the head, pay
attention to the centring bushes
