DESCRIPTION
If you encounter a customer complaint regarding D1 to D2 shift shock during light throttle (14 opening)
during warm-up, repair the problem in accordance with the following procedure.
NOTE:
Perform the repair procedure referring to the Workshop Manual for details.
REPAIR PROCEDURE
1. Conduct a test drive and confirm the customer's complaint.
2.
Check that the line pressure is within 4 . 0 - 4 . 6 kg/cm 2 ( 5 7 - 6 6 psi) at idle ( 7 2 5 - 7 7 5 rpm) in " P "
range at normal operating temperature.
If the line pressure is out o f the specification, adjust the line pressure by adjusting the lock nuts o f
the throttle cable.
3.
Verify that the throttle cable is free o f " slack" in accordance with the following procedure.
a)
Read the line pressure (a ) indicated on the pressure gauge (P/N 49B 0 19 901).
b) Disconnect the throttle cable from the throttle cam and read the line pressure ( b ) .
